Leaving Piazza Sant'Antonio behind us, we now enter Piazza Cavour, formerly known as Piazza del Duomo, and walk clockwise until we find ourselves under the portico of the ancient house that forms the corner of Riva del Castello. Turning our gaze toward the latter, we can admire the sixteenth-century Casa del Comune, with its characteristic overhang on the upper floors, the ancient residence of the Gastaldo, and the ancient houses at the entrance to Via Rastello.

In front of us, however, stands the late Gothic House of Ungrispach, one of the oldest in the city, on whose facade a fragment indicates the date MCCCCXLI, and, to our left, dominated by the bell tower of the Cathedral, the Palazzo degli Stati Provinciali, for centuries the heart of the city administration and now the seat of the Police Headquarters.

On the same side of the square, a few dozen meters from the entrance portico of the Palazzo degli Stati Provinciali, a further detail linked to our Journey of Time cannot escape the careful eye.
