Continuing along the Corso towards the Public Garden, which, with its green lung, has embellished the urban landscape since 1863, we come across evidence of a different form of "time".

The beautiful Central European-style weather station in front of the Garden, of which only two other examples exist, has provided citizens and guests with all the essential information regarding the city's weather conditions since 1895.

Just behind it, at the entrance to the garden, stands the Giulay Fountain, named after the Hungarian Field Marshal who, in 1877, donated it to the city he had chosen as his retirement home. After several moves and a period of post-war neglect during which it risked being permanently lost, in 2001, following a conservative restoration, it once again graced the city center.
