Under the arcades of what is perhaps the most characteristic and elegant square in Gorizia, there are now three establishments: a small restaurant and two taverns, where you can taste the excellent local wines accompanied by a quick snack, or more refined dishes inspired by the local culinary tradition.

It is interesting to note that in this square, towards the end of the nineteenth century, the first Covered Market was located, to make room for which both the ancient well and the stone statue of the Saint above it were moved.
