Siegfried

The palace of the nobleman Sigisfredo (SIgfried) von Vogtberg (1770), which overlooks Victory Square, has an interior entrance hall of considerable interest, with a well decorated with a beautiful sculpture on a mythological theme, set in a steep staircase that leads right up to the walls of the looming Castle.

Piazza della Vittoria is the largest square in the city and features, on the western side, the imposing mass of the church of Sant'Ignazio (16th-17th century), with the column dedicated to the Saint in front, on the southern side the Palazzo Della Torre (16th century), modified several times over time and now the seat of the Prefecture, and in a central position the Fountain of Neptune, designed by Nicolò Pacassi.
