Before climbing the hill to the Castle, you can rest for a moment while waiting for your sweetheart or your gentleman, on the curious and beautiful bench that from under the portico of an ancient house looks out onto Piazza Cavour and the important buildings facing it.

From it you can admire the Palazzo degli Stati provinciali, now the seat of the Police Headquarters, to its left the house that housed the Ospitale di Santa Maria (14th century), opposite the house of Volchero degli Ungrispach and, just after entering the Riva del Castello, the ancient town hall, residence of the Gastaldo.
