The Ministry of Health, with Ordinance no. 5/2024, has updated the eradication and surveillance measures for African swine fever (ASF).

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region has confirmed, also for the 2024/2025 campaign, the risk mitigation measures regarding slaughter for self-consumption at the home of private citizens, in order to preserve the health status and protect the regional livestock heritage.
