Following the success of the 2024 Business Call, dedicated to technological modernization, the Municipality of Gorizia is relaunching its commitment to the local economic fabric with a new initiative: the 2025 Business Call, focused on environmental sustainability,energy efficiency and the principles of thecircular economy.
This measure represents an evolution of the process started last year: companies that have already received funding in 2024 will be able to participate again, strengthening their commitment to a more sustainable and responsible development model.
The call for proposals is part of the broader Gorizia Commercial District project, promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region's Department of Productive Activities. The project was created to enhance local businesses and promote urban regeneration through collaboration between institutions, businesses, and trade associations.
WHAT THE NOTICE PROVIDES
- Non-repayable grant equal to 75% of eligible expenditure
- Minimum eligible expenditure: € 1.250
- Maximum contribution that can be paid: € 10.000
Applications can be submitted from May 23 to June 27, 2025, through a one-stop shop and in chronological order, until available resources are exhausted.
All interventions must be completed by January 31, 2026.
WHAT INTERVENTIONS ARE ELIGIBLE?
Only projects carried out within the Gorizia Commercial District area will be funded , according to the map attached to the call for proposals.
Among the eligible expenses:
- Energy efficiency of systems and structures
- Installation of photovoltaic or solar thermal systems
- Replacement of equipment with high-efficiency models (class A+ or higher)
- Replacement of window frames and installation of solar screens
- Home automation systems for intelligent energy management
- Creation of qualified training courses
- Production of promotional content (videos, photos, websites) focused on environmental sustainability
A STRATEGIC OPPORTUNITY IN THE CONTEXT OF GO!2025
The 2025 Business Call is part of the broader horizon of GO!2025, the project that sees Gorizia and Nova Gorica united as European Capital of Culture.
Thanks also to the contribution of GECT GO, which acts as a bridge between the two cities and is a member of the Commerce District, the call represents a concrete opportunity to promote cross-border cooperation and enhance the cultural and environmental heritage of the area.
