County – Scents of European Culture brings with it many events, all completely free, to celebrate Gorizia's birthday.

On Sunday, April 26, Gorizia Castle will have free admission.
MEDIEVAL VILLAGE – Public Gardens on Corso Verdi from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. A medieval village enlivened by over 90 re-enactors in medieval garb. A blast from the past with shows, medieval markets, and activities, including children's activities, surrounded by soldiers, artisans, and artists of the era. There will be rotating medieval-themed performances featuring groups of jesters, fakirs, fire-eaters, stilt walkers, men-at-arms, musicians, dancers, drummers, and flag-throwers.
LOMBARD VILLAGE in Borgo Castello from 11am to 6pm. Entertainment with an exhibition of clothing, trousseaus, and equipment from the 6th-7th century AD, organized by the Invicti Lupi Association of Romans d'Isonzo.
TREASURE HUNT “GO de Cercar” Departure from the Public Gardens at 10.30 am for children, at 10.45 am for the adult version.
Free guided tours of the city – Departing from the Public Gardens and arriving at the Castle. Departures at 9:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:30 pm.
HISTORICAL WALKS In Borgo Castello. Departures from Porta Leopoldina at 11:30, 15:30 and 16:30 – duration approximately 60 minutes.
