The Cultural Hall of the Railway Station will host the presentation of “The Black Holes of Sarajevo” at 6:03 pm.
The author, Božidar Stanišić, writer, poet, and teacher, will be in conversation with Mauro Daltin, writer and editorial director of Bottega Errante Edizioni.
Bosnia in the 1990s, before and after the conflict; the magnificent Sarajevo destroyed by the siege; the disbelief that precedes war and the disorientation that follows. Against these backdrops, men and women move as their lives suddenly change. The black holes are not just the city's wounds, but the abysses and fierce solitude that every war opens within each of us.
