MOUNTAIN STORIES AT PALAZZO CORONINI. JULIUS KUGY AND WOMEN AT HIGH ALTITUDE

The new exhibition "Mountain Stories at Palazzo Coronini. Julius Kugy and Women at High Altitude" will be open to visitors starting Saturday, June 8th, at Palazzo Coronini.

The exhibition was inspired by the eightieth anniversary of the death of Kugy, who was born in 1858 in one of the buildings located within Coronini Park, and by a letter written by the writer and mountaineer in 1926 to Countess Nicoletta Coronini Cronberg.

The life of the "poet of the Julian Alps" will be retraced through his passions: music, botany, and the mountains, thanks also to many collateral events that will complement the exhibition.

Entrance to the Palace from Via Coronini 1.

Visiting hours: Wednesday to Friday 10am-1pm and 3pm-6pm, Saturday, Sunday and holidays 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm.

The Mountain Stories exhibition at Palazzo Coronini will be open until January 6, 2025.

Holidays:
The exhibition and the palace will be closed on Saturday morning, December 21st. Visits will resume at 2:00 PM.

The Palace and exhibition will be closed on December 24, 25, 26 and 31, and January 1.
