Athletics will be a major event in Gorizia this weekend!
It will begin on Friday, July 17th with "From Jumps to Speed. My Running Thoughts," the first conference in Italy by Paolo Camossi, former world indoor triple jump champion, national manager of the FIDAL jumping sector, and coach of Marcell Jacobs, two-time Olympic gold medalist at Tokyo 2021. In-person spots are sold out, while online reservations have already reached 170.
Saturday the 18th will see the first edition of the Città delle Gorizie Meeting, a national athletics event with races counting towards the World Athletics Ranking (Global Calendar), which will also mark the inauguration of the renovated Fabretto sports field.
Admission is free. A food truck will be available.
