The “Lest We Forget” Memorial is a multi-sport charity event that aims to raise awareness and inform about gender violence and feminicide.
On Saturday, September 5th, the Vizzari Stadium, located at Via Baiamonti 15, will host the fifth edition of the event: seven-a-side football and rugby matches will be played from 2 pm.
The soccer matches will be played in single 30-minute halves. Mixed competitions (male vs. female) are planned. The rugby demonstrations will involve various age groups: from first tries (U6) to seniors (+18). Approximately 40 athletes will participate.
The closing ceremony and awards ceremony will take place at 8:00 PM. The tournament will then be handed over to the municipality hosting the sixth edition, Roveredo in Piano.
The initiative has a charitable purpose: the proceeds will be donated to SOS Rosa.
