On Wednesday 15 April at 6pm the well-known Slovenian mountaineer Viki Grošelj will be a guest of the Kulturni Dom, in via Brass 20.
On this occasion, the photographic exhibition “The 50th anniversary of the first Slovenian ascent of an eight-thousander, Makalu, and the 30th anniversary of the ascent and ski descent of the last eight-thousander, Annapurna” will be inaugurated, and the book “Makalu, 8481 – The first Slovenian eight-thousander.
Grošelj participated, as a member or expedition leader, in 33 expeditions to the Himalayas and other mountain ranges outside Europe.
