There will be many walks offered as part of the event "Green Capital, Go! 2025 City of Parks, Gardens, and Bees. Biodiversity Week," all free to attend.
This is the program:
Monday, September 1st: at 6:30 pm, a walk to discover the Corno Valley. With Roberto Covaz and Liubina Debeni.
Tuesday, September 2nd, at 6:00 PM, guided tour "Parks and Gardens of the Austrian Nice." With nature guide Sabrina Pelizzon. Meet in front of the Town Hall.
Wednesday, September 3rd at 5:00 PM, botanical walk in Rafut Park. With arborist Tanja Grmovšek.
Friday, September 5th, at 7:30 pm, at the Viatori Garden, an evening walk "From Earth to Sky, From Day to Night," featuring summer sky observations, in collaboration with the Farra d'Isonzo Astronomical Cultural Association (ODV). Participation fee: €15.
Sunday, September 7th, at 10:00 a.m., Sasaki, a narrative pedestrian itinerary starting from the Viatori Garden and walking along the Isonzo River through the Straccis neighborhood, to Villa Ritter, and continuing toward Valletta del Corno Park and Coronini Park. At 4:30 p.m., a walk to discover Piuma Park with Sonia Kucler.
