“Giuseppe Ungaretti, poet and soldier between the Karst and the Isonzo” is the title of the double event that will be held on Thursday, September 4th.
At 5:30 pm, at Casa Krainer, at Via Rastello 43, the Thomas Schippers Orchestra, conducted by Carlo Grandi, will perform with violinist Laura Grandi.
At 7:00 pm, in the 18th-century hall of the Church of Sant'Ignazio, there will be a discussion on "Giuseppe Ungaretti in the First Six Battles of the Isonzo," with Mirella Della Valle and Silvio Stok. This will be followed by a screening of the film "The Karst from the Isonzo to the Timavo," produced by the Obiettivo Immagine association.
