A new season opens with many itineraries into nature and history for Crossroads of Europe.
The first appointment will be on Sunday 3 May with Jewish Gorizia.
Departure will be at 10:00 a.m. from Via Cocevia. The walk will take about 3 hours.
The history of Gorizia's Jewish community and its contribution to the cultural, economic, and religious life of the area will be retraced. From its medieval origins on Via Cocevia, through Piazza Vittoria, Casa Michelstaedter, and Casa Luzzatto, to the former ghetto area and the 18th-century synagogue on Via Ascoli.
